Hey everyone!
So i decided i had had enough of my old hair colour and that it was time for a change. I've always wanted to try a turquoise shade so that's what I did this time round. I used Special Fx dye for the first time in the colours Cupcake Pink and Fish-bowl and I also added some purple in too, i used Rusk Scream Purple.
You cant really tell from the photos but my hair is a lot shorter on one side compared with the other.

ReplyDeleteI used Special Fx on my hair normally in virgin rose or atomic pink. They last pretty well. Esp. virgin rose, which when it does fade it turns pink rather than the orange tinge atomic pink goes. I tried fish bowl once, but it didn't last very well, it pretty much washed out in the first wash for me :(
ow wow, i washed my hair today for the first time since dying it. so far there is no fading but i did bleach my hair to white before adding the Special Fx, maybe that will help it all stay in longer

ReplyDeleteAll of those brands are essentially the same thing, which is vegetable dye. You may get some extended wear from a certain brand or color but unfortunately they all fade more quickly than natural-type colors. Manic Panic original seems to fade faster than Special Effects but the Amplified formula isn't as bad. In my experience, Punky Colours and Special effects last longest though.
